While working on my castle, I was disturbed by a loud knock and two muffled voices talking to
each other? someone was on the other side of the front door­­two people, in fact!  I opened my
mouth to call them in, but I came to the realization that at my size, they wouldn't hear me.  I would
have to get closer.  The anxiety of meeting new people made the tedious trek across the floor
even worse!

"He must be away," one voice concluded.  The doorknob clicked.

"But it's unlocked.  Let's just go in and wait."  The other stranger sounded hopeful.
Before I could even get to the door, they were inside.  Sure enough, two individuals entered: one
was a navy fox, dressed ordinarily enough in khaki pants, and a young - ­looking snow­white ermine
in black cloth garb, like a martial artist­­ - a ninja?
Since my unofficial exile from society, I hadn't interacted much with people at all? I was also aware
that for as long as I can remember, I've gotten slightly smaller with each passing year.  Still, the
size of these people shocked me.  They were downright gargantuan!

"Are you sure?  We could lose the job before we even get it..." the ermine sheepishly noted.

The two proceeded to enter, walking across the living room, peering into doorways to look for their
potential employer. Of the two, the fox seemed the most adventurous, leading the way. Their
footsteps rocked the floor under my feet as they approached.  These monsters scared me the
slightest bit.  Still, they would prove to be an invaluable yet eventually expendable source of
assistance.

"I'm glad you found the place, gentlemen. Are you cur­­" I began, until I was interrupted by one of
the titans.

"Besides, how do you know it's not a female employer?  Don't be sexist." Feigning offense, the
navy­furred fox stopped and turned toward the ermine.

They couldn't even hear me.  Their voices were loud, but it could have been just because of their
immense size.  I scrambled to return to my tiny model castle? having worked on it for a couple
days, I didn't want my progress to be lost!

"Yeah, yeah.  You know what I meant.  Let's find this guy already."  Annoyed, the peculiar ninja
walked past the snarky fox, his path on a direct course for my castle!
My last interactions with people wasn't this bad? I could at least hold down a conversation, but
how could I let these destructive ruffians into my midst?  Yes, I'd definitely become smaller, as
each of the young ermine's toes had a decent advantage on me in height, looming over me like
four pink­padded bullies. I was outnumbered and overpowered in every sense.

These.  These are the savage beasts that have dominated civilization on this planet. They only
proved to fuel my hatred for the people of this planet? they threaten to take what isn't theirs and
trample the owners like bugs.  This is the reason my plan must go forward.  I will change this
planet.
