Eskavra is a mystical being who takes the form of a mountain lion, often referred to as "Rikt's Guardian" or the "Keeper of Rikt". She is a practiser of magic and has been around for many centuries.

To mortals she seems all-knowing and they will sometimes approach her for advice (if they can find her), however she is not always willing to part with her knowledge, nor is she immune to making mistakes.

Her main purpose is to maintain peace and order in the land of Rikt - at any cost. She usually refuses to take sides when it comes to the dispute between the wolves and sabres.

She tries to remain neutral where good vs evil is concerned but when push comes to shove she tends to err on the side of good - even so, she should still not be completely trusted. She is known to deal out harsh punishments to those who dare to offend her, though thankfully she is not too easily angered.
