Fun fact, I don't actually have much experience with using a sewing machine. All the sewing projects that's been uploaded to my profile up to this point was been done hand sewing. ... Lots of hand sewing. I've gotten at least 4 different people offering to teach me to machine sew.

So I decided to sit down and learn using this tutorial here: http://mmmcrafts.blogspot.com/2009/06/basic-messenger-bag.html

This was done using leftover grey material from my bat art doll and an old polo shirt of Norv's. (I've been wanting to turn that into a bag for forever.) It's been sized down to about 9 x 9 in with much thanks to Norv for helping with the scaling. I also decided against the pockets to keep it overall simpler. (That was a hard decision since I love having a million pockets.)

I'm really proud of myself for making this and learned a lot. Plus, it's super cute! I just need a little raincloud keychain to go with it. <3
