OH. YES. Yes they should!!
I think it's kinda funny when they get mad. What I used to do was watch them talk to me... like, I see them talking, so I'd pause but not take out the headphones, and thennn after they're done talking, take out the headphones and play dumb so they have to repeat everything. That's how you bend people out of shape.
I feel so evil now, bwahahaha!

Well, people over at my place don't have the common courtesy to leave you alone if you have em in, and then get mad when you don't hear what they say... Headphones should be a universal "Leave me alone" sign, don'tcha think? xD
