All the pushing & struggling did not help & you were unable to pull yourself out of the ground. Then the bark began creeping up, merging with your body. You realized you could no longer feel your legs or tail…they had become part of the roots holding you in place. More and more of your body was turning into bark, creeping up your arms and shoulders.
It seems that you might be staying in this forest for much longer than planned….
