However, it was confusing being led to a seemingly empty fitting room, especially after seeing the rows and rows of elaborate costumes. That was when the light headedness set in, causing you to fall to the ground. That was because your body felt empty and unable to hold you upright. Your feet had literally come off!
But they were now costume feetpaws. Same for your wings and handpaws; without having anything to secure them to, they’d simply fallen off. Even your tail, held on by a belt, was starting to come loose. Your body was becoming a crumpled, empty suit.

Feeling the zipper at your neck, you realize too late what’s happening. You can only struggle in vain with your last moments of being animate.

Time to get used to being a costume!
