Having fought his way through the monsters and traps of the old ruins, Arysdron was now confronted with a final obstacle. There, on an old overgrown pedestal, was the Snake Idol. It was the objective of this dungeon expedition and it seemed like the intel had been correct.

Problem was the pedestal was certainly bobby trapped. The Idol was clearly weighing down the top section of the pedestal, ready to trigger upon anyone who dared remove the Idol.

So that was where Arysdron was, filling a small sack with sand & rocks while attempting to estimate the weight of the Idol. There were tales of a legendary explorer who had pulled off this feat and Arysdron was attempting to emulate him.

Sweating with anticipation, he tried to calm his trembling hands as best as he could. And with a swift motion, swapped the Idol with his filled sack.

Finding that he wasn’t impaled or blown up, Arysdron breathed a sigh of relief.

“Well, that worked out!”
