As he stood tall before his opponents, his body bearing many wounds for all to see, his shining golden gaze fixated itself upon his enemy. The once warm and welcoming appearance of Daedalus Deninhime shifted to an avatar of peerless rage.

His inner power swelling within him, fueled by an endless storm of fury, amassed around his body in a brilliant glow. Arcs of focused energy lashing in all directions as the once-proud immortal stood firmly in place. His fresh wounds quickly regenerating across his entire person as he glanced forward and spoke with a dark and terrifying tone.

"There are many things you can do to me..."

His eyes continued to remain motionless, his gaze never once wavering,

"Call me names. Damage my property. Shoot me. Stab me... As someone who is tasked with living forever, I can deal with these things."

He clutched the bloodstained jacket firmly in his hand, the anger within him growing as the aura began to react even more violently to his volatile feelings.

"... But harming my kid? My son, who was forced to become a monster and a cold-blooded murderer, because of YOU?!"

His voice boomed as bits of debris around him began to crumble from the weight of the ever-growing flow of power emanating from his body. All of the anger he felt, the rage, all originated from the memory of the day he blamed himself for nearly 25 years ago. His murdered wife, Alison, and his two sons who he was separated from during the confusion of that great tragedy.

But now he had a second chance... A second chance and an immortal life to right the wrongs of his past. To take revenge on those who forced his sons to suffer endlessly.

"... Ready yourselves. Reload your weapons, prepare your explosives, sharpen your blades... Unleash whatever Hell you want upon me."

"Because once I get up, I'm going to tear down everything, and everyone, in my way."

So I figured it's been awhile, but I tried to do a little on-the-spot story to go with the image. Actually quite thrilled with how this one turned out. Feels gud.
