Toward the end of winter, I admit that sometimes I am really very much ready for it to end. I suspect that the birds might feel this way, too! 6 months of snow is a long time.
Here's a Bluejay hunkered down on an overcast winter day. My husband and I call them "Wamps" like silly people, because their call sounds rather like "wamp!"
