Personality:

Overall a loving, helpful, generous, friendly, and worrisome person, Kai definitely isn't the type to brag about who he is. Although he's partially a lazy ass, Kai does like to keep himself occupied. There's times he works on his inventions, reads, or studies old artifacts to keep his mind focused. He can be quite affectionate towards the ones he cares about and the closer he is to them, the more he shares his love for them. He can be overprotective sometimes to the point it may annoy his loved ones, but he's still learning to pull back for their sake. When faced with options he'd rather not choose, he might complain and think up better ways to avoid them, even if he's really doing it to prolong things. He doesn't mind being social with people and tries to treat them lots of respect (or about as much they show him first) so thus, he strongly dislikes upsetting others when it's unintended.

He's very much the doting father and big brother most of the time around his family. He is always ready to put others over himself and willing to pull out all the courage he can muster in the face of bravery and responsibilities, whether something makes him fearful in the process or not. Sometimes his mishaps and lack of convincing to others that he can handle things well without many foul-ups enable disbelief to grow in others. Much to his dismay, he can't hide feelings well, but he does so eventually when needed.

Because of his anxiety disorder, he stays concerned about a lot of things 90% of the time, sometimes even fearing the worst over simple everyday things, but he works on trying to not let it get the best of him. He's paces himself with his work and responsibilities when he can afford it to keep himself from being overwhelmed. His loved ones have ways of reassuring him they're their for him, as much as tends to fear he's a bother to them. Despite his seemingly calm exterior at times, his internal and almost eternal stress doesn't surface until there's trouble abound sometimes and even tends to linger after issues have been resolved. It ties into his penchant for taking naps and possibly sparked his tendency to stress eat. Other times he can be a bundle of nerves, so when he's not in a guarded or simply well aware of his surroundings, he can be startled easily.

Due to his love of food, he can be easily distracted by it. Food itself is a passion of his and he even enjoys cooking enough to have become skilled with it. One may or may not expect him to have the kind of vast appetite he has, but it's there. Although he loves a large array of foods from traveling the world over the years, he's got an undeniable sweet tooth. Cookies and doughnuts are at the top of his sweets list. He sometimes eats as if there isn't a tomorrow because of that appetite and the love of food makes for either an overly healthy combo or a increasingly shocking 'clean-up' show. Usually, he tends to keep the figure he has through eating so much because of his extraordinarily, yet unnaturally high metabolism.

Other info:

♦ He left his homeland for his family's safety sake to settle down more in the Cadothe kingdom, in the world of Solum. Taking the place of the King there after challenging him (and likely showing off to his wife), he did not wish to be subjected to being threatened after trying to get used to his new life. Making a deal with the former king, they joined together to keep Cathdothe thoroughly supported.

♦ Is an inventor. Spends time in his lab when he has free time every now and then.
