Jemu is the fun loving type who likes to joke around. He whispered to his wife, Samia, "Oanche, yuldve eid chartah Nico Pancho". That's Niyon for, "Honey, watch me mess with Nico and Pancho". It was spoken in Niyon so Nico and Pancho couldn't understand what was being said.

Jemu then sped the cruiser up to half warp, about half the speed of light. That was just fast enough to make the stars ahead appear to change colors of violet and blue due to the light wave compression effect.

"THE STARS HAVE GONE CRAZY!" shouted Nico as Kassa and his family busted out laughing. Pancho stood speachless. Jemu was laughing so hard, he was doing everything he could to keep the cruiser steered straight.

"Caunta manyee voostib, Jemu", Samia laughed, which is, "You are terrible, Jemu".

"Nico. Pancho.", Jemu addressed them. "The stars didn't go crazy. That's only because I sped up the cruiser". Then Jemu explained to Nico and Pancho how approaching and departing objects at cosmic speeds causes them to appear to change colors.

Samia compared it for Nico and Pancho, to how the sound of an airplane changes as it flys past. She was sure that their guests have seen many Earth type aircraft fly over, on their planet, and have observed the sound change.
