Did you know pill bugs (sometimes called "roly-polies") are not insects? They're crustaceans! But my "bug people" include cousins and friends like spiders and pill bugs. :)
This is the original work for one of my recent button designs.

It works as a nice catch-all in the vernacular and is certainly a cuter name than "creepy crawly things." :)

bug
Colloquially "bug" does seem to apply to a lot more than true bugs or even just insects, for sure. I don't really have a problem with that (even though I'm still on shaky terms with spiders e.e;).
