Artist Statement:

Sometimes the hardest truce some one can make is with themselves. Letting go of self loathing, self destruction, and a hopeless attitude towards life can be one of the hardest things to do. Sometimes that truce can only happen at the lowest of moments... where there is no denying the damage that is being done. Trading a world wrought full of pain and deep depression for one of chasing after hope and healing can be almost impossible since it is process of making a truce with your own worst enemy... who knows all of your flaws... all your failings... every single embarrassment, lie, tragedy, doubt, and worry. The worst enemy that is always with you and working against you, because that enemy is you.

In order for peace and the hope of happiness, a truce has to be made, where you will try and live again.
