(I feel like I'm having a total Rarity Moment)

Okay... so being the fashionista I am, I simply could not stand the idea of baggy sleeve gloves on my partial,only to be stuck wearing a basic T-shirt? NO WAY! Nor could I stand the idea of my curvy body being trapped in a suit that gave me some bulky mono-boob. EWWW! So, I came up with this.. this is my own personal design and I've never seen it done anywhere else. Its sort of a cropped fursuit "jacket".

Key Features:

* short gloves will connect at the end of the sleeves, making it easy to get access to my hands as needed for eating, drawing, ect! I have wide stainless steel cuff bracelets that I like to wear around so they will hid that seam even further.

*cropped design will use as little fur as possible to keep things light and cool while providing coverage where needed.

*"invisible" zipper front makes for easy application and removal. I'll be using a medium-short pile fur (less than one inch) for this, making the invisible front zipper a little more manageable.

*Stand collar will over lap with the neck of the fursuit head, making for a more seamless look there. I can wear a collar or choker to hide the joint even further if so desired.

*elastic inside at the cuff and waistband will help things stay in place as I bounce around the con. (I have every intention of dancing my ass off when I go to cons, and if you've seen my ass, you know thats ALOT of dancing!)

*bustier fitted bustline - THIS IS THE COMPLICATED PART. lots of suits have boobs, but they are usually padded for the male bodies of the wearers. in this case, the boobs are my own, no padding required! The front will be VERY fitted, following the pattern of my own bra (which I will still be wearing underneath for full support). This will give the semi-weightless bustline common to sexy furry pin ups, while also allowing for natural movement and cleavage formation as my various tops allow. Also, since my bra is hidden underneath the "jacket" , I'll be able to fashionably wear tops that I normally couldn't, like spaghetti strap tanks, halters, and tube tops (and you better believe I'm gonna have the sexiest tops I can find for the con!)

I will be using the method for making a ducttape dummy to help make my base pattern. I will then be using cheep cotton fabric (probably old bed sheets!) to test the effectiveness of the pattern before I make even the first snip in my fur. As a bonus, I'll then be able to use this cotton mock up as a lining for the final piece (horrah, no scratchy fur backing against my skin!)
