Here's another WiP piece of weaponry, for the Gendoran Republic Defense Forces. Most of these are heavily influenced by Galil & Negev firearms.

As the Republic has only one arms manufacturer, the designs for each generation of weapons are very similar to each other in basic mechanics. Medium caliber battle rifles are standard for all the infantry of the Ground Defense Forces, while limited for the Marines as marksman rifles. The light caliber assault rifles are standard for the Marines, vehicle crews, and Special Forces. The top-fed box magazine automatic rifles are reserved for civilian militias in times of invasion. Light-caliber machine guns, designed for both belt & box feeding, are the standard for all infantry in the Defense Forces. Medium caliber machine guns can be used in two-man infantry squads or vehicle mounted.
