Chien-Pao is the only Pokémon from Paldea that I actually liked. Not gonna lie, it’s most likely because it looks like a cat/snow leopard xD Yeah I know one of the starters is also a cat but I prefer Litten’s design a bit more, can’t say the same about its last evolution though lol, same goes to Meowscarada xD

I also like the fact that it is a very hyperactive kitty, once its out of its Pokeball it won’t stop running around xD

I colored differently for this pic and made a soft shaded work with lineart instead of my usual flat shading style (Check here, here or here if you’re curious), it fitted Chien-Pao’s body since it’s made of snow but also is heavily inspired by the coloring style I had in 2011 (Check here and here) it was quite fun to use it again, might do it again in the future x3
