Midnight hasn't been sleeping much or maybe even at all and still has to be at work to serve the public their questionably occult coffee at Kaffe Kult. This time however it seems that the shadow people felt bad enough for her that they stepped in to assist rather than be spooky.
One of the more silly ideas I had for the Kaffe Kult having to do with strange things assisting rather than being terrifying or spooky. Poor Midnight is already dead on her feet in this.
