"The first few seconds of shrinking are honestly the most panic inducing, if you're used to it. You generally have to ask yourself, 'Oh gosh, is this really happening right now?' Or maybe, 'Mmh, where did I put my phone? Close enough to the ground that I can reach it at three feet tall?'

Another difficulty is, of course, struggling with your clothes in these first couple of seconds. Even when you're alone, unless you're used to going around in the buff, your first reaction is likely going to be 'I need to keep these on no matter what!' But, time is precious, and any time you spend trying to fidget with cloth that really just wants to fall to the ground around you is time you could spend getting yourself set up for recovery!

This...has happened to me quite a bit, so I know how this is all supposed to get down. ...A-ah, I guess, I still have the issue that whenever I call a friend to help out, I still just kind of don't want them to see me all nude on the floor? So, I guess I still need to kind of internalize that sort of thing..."
