The Ninetales have been know to swell the ranks of foxes and foxkind, and the secret of that mystical power is in her tails. So fluffy and seductive are her vixen charms that none who brush upon her tails can escape her enchantments.

It only takes a single touch to make one fox-fated; for even if one were to escape, the Ninetales’ influence will always follow them, calling them back to their fate. A second touch seeps into the fox-fated’s mind, making their very souls as fluffy as their mistress before even their bodies show signs. A third touch, and the fox-fated is completely at the vixen’s mercy, body and soul.

From there, all nine tails caress and warm them, easing them away from their former paths and lives. The tails shed the new foxes’ memories, devotions, and bodies, and instill within them base desires, the steps of the vulpine way.
