Inspired by my trip to Star Wars Celebration in 2017 as I am a long time fan of the whole thing.
One of the greatest thing there is a lot of the fan work. Homemade astromechs that drive around the convention floor. Life sized TIEs and Snowspeeders. And costumes of all kinds from super movie accurate to all kinds of combination of themes. The whole thing really did whet my appetite for costuming again. Played around a little with that and prop making in the late 90s before life and everything got in the way. It'd be a little fun to get back into it.
Of course, being a shapeshifter would give me a whole lot more possibility of things to adapt, and I thought my little long tailed dragon shape would look very nice in Sith robes. ^^

Not to many have returned from that kind of setback.

I mean...Darth Vader lost all four limbs and was set on fire, Grievous was blown up with only his brain and heart being able to be recovered and put into a cyborg body, if you count Legends canon a similar thing happened to Lumia, and Boba Fett said "Screw you!" to the Sarlacc pit and blasted himself out with his jet-pack and a thermal detonator.
Oh and yeah Palpatine resurrected himself into a clone body and was behind all the events of the sequel trilogy. Spoilers.
