#GoingInCircles by Mekali Kaga (critique requested)

Everywhere I go, everywhere I look
I see men and women alike
Repeating the same routines day by day
Like a toddler circling the block on his trike

It seems to be the way of the world today
Back to the same place over and over again
An everlasting loop that makes the day
From as early as 6 to as late as 11

But what about me? What have I done?
Have I fallen in the same line?
Am I just another statistic?
Did I miss a chance to claim what's mine?

I look around seeing my peers around me
Wondering if they have the same idea
I figure that they are just like I
And hope they have it together, oh my

Yet I just don't feel the same way
Whenever I turn, it's like a house of mirrors
It's my reflection and I looking at each other
Making me feel like having night terrors

I just can't take it anymore!
I can't possibly keep going on like this!
My life right now is rocking me to the core!
It seems that I'll never again be in bliss...

But I can't stop, can't give up
I've been told that it gets better with time
Like taking a remedy from a cup
My life will soon be in it's prime

Even with every passing day
Even with all of the support, it's not enough
I feel I'm going in circles
Times are beginning to get tough

So what is a guy like me to do?
Do I just sit back at let life pass me by?
Hell no, forget this waiting game
This cheetah is gonna find his way to fame

Lately, I've been feeling like I haven't been getting anywhere with my life. Sometimes I just wonder if I should go a different pace and try something new. But I just don't know what I want to do...

Once again, another poem I wrote from the heart.
