Super Collie defends the land from the forces of darkness, wielding the Mystic Power of the Shepherd...

The pose is from a referenced off a stock anatomy photo courtesy of the magazine "ImagineFX" (#57, June 2010). The pose in question was for "Kneeling with Sword" - to which I substituted Super Collie's crook and added a 'blowing in the wind' appearance. Then I added a photo of the Mackenzie Pass, running it through an oilify filter and adding a darkened sky effect, before applying some "grass" pattern brushwork over the foreground.
