Lore
It's very hard to talk about the Ambershyr province or the House D'Ambershyr without bringing up the association with roses. As a temperate rainforest region and one that has a major rose industry, they're so common that many take their presence for granted, especially with 'rose vines' that creep up many estates and marble gardens. The D'Ambershyr household is even frequently represented by either the 'twin roses' or a rose wrapped around a rapier. So the impact that roses have on the local culture and economy is hard to understate. While it's not actually the regional mixed drink of Ambershyr (that would go to the less famous or well known Berry Champagne Cobbler) this is going to be the mixed drink that seasoned drinkers would think of when they think of rainy Ambershyr. This drink was invented by the Bartender Bartholemew Thaddle in 1878 to honour the local ruling noble house of D'Ambershyr (which were well loved by their people before their mass-assassination) and has remained popular both with tourists, and with locals as a guilty pleasure. Thanks to this mixed drink, virtually all bars across the region often have rose syrup on standby just in case.
