I love coloring metal.
My half of a trade with nekosd43 from a bit of a while ago. I really hope you like it, and that I didn't fudge the character design too much! I was given artistic freedom with the robotness, so I just did whatever was fun to draw X3
The picture I got in the trade is this cute one here. I really need more art of Smalls drinking beverages.

I ADORE this so much. I love the subtle shading on her body, the implied lines and shading that give the upper body its shape. Man. This is fabulous. Her hair came out particularly great, I love the numerous shades you squeezed in there. And as always, I am in love with how you render tails. Hers looks fluffy even though it's metal, how do you DO that??

Thanks so much! I was trying out a cel-shaded, gradient style with the hair that I read in a tutorial once. You do a general gradient from light to dark, then do harder edged shading over that. It makes for a pretty fun look. As for the tail, I think I was just born to draw really huge tails and ears, lol.

Oh my gosh I love this so much! She looks so cool! I love the little shines on the metal, and I love how blocky/unnatural but also organic/smooth she looks. Perfect perfect perfect <3 Thank you so much, this was a fun trade!
