Profile

I'm a writer, photographer and musician. I write anthropomorphic fiction for general and mature audiences. The stories have varying genres. It's never been easier to share these stories with the world, but I'm looking to hopefully break through with commercial success. For now, I've been doing some marketing, graphic design and communications work -- and I'm very happy to be busy!

I was a staff member and co-admin of SoFurry from 2007 through 2011. I used to be physically active in the furry fandom, but I'm more comfortable being behind the scenes. I will always be grateful for the opportunity to be in a leadership role.

Creepers

Greetings,

This is my first journal on Weasyl -- so hi! I don't have a lot of followers and friends on here at the moment, but I'm already comfortable. I already feel welcome. I have accounts on so many furry sites, but Weasyl is more straightforward than most.

I'm going to start my first entry off by taking about "creepers," and those are people who don't stop messaging you -- and they go up, over and beyond one's personal boundaries. Believe me, I love to chat with people. It's just that there are some people who either really, really like me or they really, really don't like it when I tell them "no." Of course, the best course of action is to ignore the offenders, block them and hope they find some other poor sap to poke. But every once in a while, there will always be that one guy or girl who is relentless. I come across that one person in chat rooms and IRC.

There's someone who, of course, I won't name. The moment I log into a channel, no matter what time it is, he sends me a private message. Not even 30 seconds after I login he appears, and he writes to me in full-on roleplay mode. I told him a few months ago, "Please stop writing to me," but he wrote me again shortly after my plea. This time, he changed his hostname and IP address. Block. Happens again one week later. Block. Rinse and repeat two more times and now I feel my personal space is being invaded. This knucklehead is dedicated. I blocked him once more tonight using a wildcard host-range ban that hopefully will do the trick.

"Creepers" need to learn what "no" means.
