Sia's Test Reports - Report 0

Ana walked through her lab one early morning, thinking. It had been months since the Moogle gadgeteer had perfected one of her masterpieces, a robot made for a friend of a friend. She had become happier with her Self Inflating Android, or SIA, than she thought she originally would, for one simple reason. Sia had full control over her own code, and could alter it on a whim in her aims to please. Was this only a fluke, or had Ana finally made her magnum opus? One thing was for certain, she was too tired to think much more about it.
With a yawn, she made it into her workroom, and started brewing some coffee. As she did, she noticed a stack of paper on the corner of her desk. This was strange, as usually, her desk was more messy with gadgets and tools and chips instead of paperwork. A helper drone must have brought in this paperwork for her to sign, she thought. Oh well, might as well get through it. She took a look at the front page, and what she saw astounded her.
These pages were all lab reports, clearly not made by her. Ana’s own handwriting was nowhere near as clean, it was almost as if the writer themself was a robot. A cup of coffee later, and Ana realized that the way the reports were written was reminiscent of Sia’s. She quickly picked up the papers and started looking through the reports. The first page explained everything, fortunately.

REPORT 0

Subject name: Sia
Researcher name: Sia
Date: July 1, 2020
Test Purpose: No test today, just explanation.
Hypothesis: None.
Description: I’m guessing this is how you type up a lab report? ...I guess I can afford to be non-professional, since it’s not really for anyone but me. I’m an android built to inflate using specialized fans in certain parts of my body, but I can only inflate one way. Fortunately, I have access to my own code, so I can fuck with it and change how I do things. Each test will be logged in a report like this, since someone’s bound to want to read it. I’m not much of a scientist, hence why you likely won’t see much of a professional atmosphere in these reports. But eh, who’s gonna want to read the ramblings of a kink-bot? ...Not that I mind being one, even after I broke from my original AI code. It’s definitely fun, more so than not having any purpose other than existing.

Looks like Sia's wanting to do some upgrades to her code! Let's see what she's got up her sleeves...

I've had my eye on the game Superliminal ever since it was shown off as the "Museum of Simulation Technology" proof of concept, and it recently launched on Switch. Sadly, I'm currently broke due to circumstances beyond my control. I decided to advertise commissions for this game, and ccms gifted me $20 without requesting anything. However, I couldn't let this gift go unrewarded, so I decided to start writing some short lab reports in the vein of yttreia's works. I told CCMS this, and he gave me more money to bring the total amount of reports to 4. So... hopefully I can come up with some good ideas for this! (This one is a freebie, just to set things up.)

And by the way, there will be more in this series in the future, beyond just this free one and the four paid ones, since CCMS wanted to double the amount but I wasn't sure if I could. I already have ideas for two more, though.
