I can't believe it took me 5 years to figure out how to draw snow effects in SAI instead of GIMP lmfao

A bit of a retrospective against a style practice I did today. You should note that the last two images are both in the same shading style, so that really should say something about how far I've come with my shading techniques. Otherwise, you can see the improvements in general, especially this past year.

From 2012 to the end of 2015 I wasn't confident at all about my art, and produced it very sporadically. Before that, I produced it but at least a bit more frequently.

Nowadays, I look at art as a form of job. I don't get art block, and I don't get hung up on anything. I just apply my skills and techniques that I have developed across the years, and produce an artwork. I have reached a point where I don't think about it, I just draw, because I know I can.
