woah a real critique I hardly get one thank you first of all
I'm glad that I captured the feel I was going for and that you think so to. You're right about the shadow, the sun is shining from the right so it should be going more toward the left, and I believe I get what you mean since the sun is lower it should cast a much longer shadow than it does right now. I also agree about the little patches of grass and whatnot, simple things can make a drawing complex which is pretty much what I go for in my art, I just need to work on backgrounds more so I can capture that

ooo very nice, i dig the atmosphere and mood and that palette is so nice-- it really communicates that end of Summer temperate region weather i think c:
you flagged this for critique so i thought i would give one: judging by the shadows on the figure i think the shadow on the ground should be a bit more sideways towards the grass and perhaps start a little further back than it does. during sunset the sun is angled lower so shadows are not nearly that directly below a figure. does that make sense? it's kinda hard to explain in words haha but i hope this helps! everything else seems good to me! if anything i would also add a few more little details in the grass and some patches on the path to match the details you gave the trees and the figure.
