SY: Cintelle in fight

LudoCrow

Here is an image of Cintelle, in the midst of battle and changing as her curses take hold with the battle-rage that fighting brings within her.

As a kriegswulf, in her changed state she is a feral yet surprisingly competent and natural fighter, able to wield weapons(formal or improvesed) with surprising if brutal ease despite of her more bestial countenance. In a particularly prolonged battle or conflict(some hounds have been known to stay changed for days at end during particularly intensives battles between armies), like most of her kind she is also prone to scavenging, discarding a broken weapon to take that of a fallen combatant so that she can immediately turn the new weapon against the nearbiest opponent on her path, and can sometime be prone to replace fallen pieces of armor in a similar way.

However, much like the berzerkers of popular mythos she will prove nonetheless utterly savage and irrational and prone to lashing at even allies too close to her in the midst of combat even if her training as part of a mercenary company's "Pet hound" has given her more experience in distinguishing friends from foe even in this state.
Nevertheless, it has not been unheard of a foolhardy recruit to be smashed to the side by one of her weapons for being too close to her and not retreating immediately when she was unleashed in the midst of enemy positions and the more experienced mercenaries knew well to keep a good distance from her even when fighting is over. Most know that until she is human again, in this state she is best considered as a highly aggressive and half-traind wardog to be handled with utmost care lest she lash without warning.

Eventually, once a battle has quieted down and there is enough of a lack of aggression stimuli for her to calm herself she will finally change back to her human form where she would be normally separated again from most of the soldiers to avoid unnecessary incidents until the next engagement.

Normally she would rarely be unleashed upon enemy troops in this state, where she is more vulnerable. Traditionally mercenary companies which made uses of kriegswulf irregular troops would keep them in a cage close enough to the fighting to trigger their changes. Once fully changed the cage would be openned in the direction of the enemy while a retreat order would be given for mercenaries in the area targeted by the beasts to withdraw to leave the enemy to fend with the beasts themselves as the savage and regenerating creatures would be unleashed on them.

For her fully changed self, it is based on this old image which I decided to base the character upon(where she might be currently toting more scavenged gear): https://www.weasyl.com/submission/194368/lupine-berzerker
