Sicarius by LordFenrir

Sicarius

So this is a piece for xephersicarius showing off some awesome detail in his costume for Xepher Sicarius the assassin!

I added the hexagon knot-work detailing ALL of the trim of the red bits of costume (a pattern I "borrowed" from my earlier drawing for his winter attire), a little beak thing for the hood, and minor details throughout.

I went ahead and changed the hood to attach to his vest, instead of his cloak (which doesn't appear in this picture). I figured that if he were going into battle, he probably would take off the cloak, and having it attached to the vest means he can still have the cool looking hood :)

This one also shows how his swords will hang in the finished piece. One is drawn from over his left shoulder, and the other is drawn from under the right arm. Both swords are held in their scabbards by straps (not shown). They are also short, broad swords, instead of the hook swords he's usually seen with. That's a matter of personal taste.

The hidden blades have also been moved to the top of the bracers, not the bottom, again, due to personal taste. I think you get more force in a punch with it on top of your arm than a quick stab. Plus, if he is deprived of his other weapons, boom! They double as daggers for combat and a parrying weapon, almost like a buckler.

Whew, that's a lot. This outfit will be made once he gets his fursuit. Look for it in the fall/winter :3

Expression is priceless. Great stunning artwork and to ponder what it would look like in 3D form has got me curious and fascinated.
