One of twelve fox monks living in a monastery in Zhonggou, Earl Grey has, without a doubt been there the longest. Out of the various fox species that worship at the temple, Earl Grey is probably also the shortest, but no less fierce, nor less wise than his companions. Earl Grey began his adventuring career at an extremely late age, as the Twelve Foxes decided to all go their separate ways, only to return to the monastery when they had discovered enlightenment, however it may come to them.

Unknown to Earl Grey, this was a motion pushed forth by a fox by the nickname of Blackpelt, who sought to find enlightenment and immortality through any means necessary. Blackpelt had begun to dip into necromancy when Earl Grey started to catch on. Blackpelt then petitioned that the Twelve Foxes go their separate ways in search of enlightenment, which Blackpelt soon found in the form of dark magic. He hoped the journey would be the death of his old rival.

Unfortunately, Earl Grey has found the adventure to restore some of his vitality, both through magic items and his adventures at large. Teaming up with a fierce dragonborn brawler, there are few foes that can withstand Tallears...
