I didn't forget about my plans of turning Rommel Rattrey into a comic book science-powered villain... it just took me way longer than I had expected to make any progress whatsoever on doing so.

This is definitely a "work in progress"/"proof of concept" sort of drawing just to get the idea out of my head and solidified visually--I am torn between giving him an obvious control panel of sorts on the front of his suit, or more likely, integrating some controls into his gloves, making them a less obvious target for anyone looking to stop his supervillain tantrums, and shortly after I finished this, I came up with one possible mask/respirator design for him although he's not wearing it here. 

Before I came up with the respirator design, I was considering giving him a proper full gas mask/hood like one would see on a hazmat suit but couldn't quite get it right, although I might try it again later, either as part of his villain origin story or as an alternative to his respirator for when a scenario (or bit of experimental kink art) might call for such a thing.

I figure his "villain outfit" would just be whatever hazmat suit he was stuck wearing while being experimented on/forced to clean up hazardous Science Messes, and the tank on his back is something I'll have to design in more detail later on but it contains the Science Ooze/Science Gas that gives him his weird mutant superpowers. If/when I get around to designing it in more detail, I imagine the tank would actually have a couple different hoses, one or two going into his suit around the back of his neck (and maybe even connected directly into his body somehow?) and a couple more going into his respirator/mask. For any sort of inflation/stuffing/swelling-themed shenanigans involving pumping him up with Science Ooze, he's going to likely need at least one hose going to his mouth as well.
(Bonus silly idea: giving him one of those hats with the straws and spaces for beer cans, but replace the beer cans with little science canisters full of glowing science juice.)
