More World-Building Wednesday vehicle posting, featuring something I started in early 2023, forgot about for several months, and then rediscovered and finished in mid-December 2023.
Not a whole lot to say here, I designed this gunship/shuttle for Domarion and Domi to make use of in their mercenary/bounty hunting/general space adventures. It follows a lot of the same aesthetics as most of my other ship designs, featuring forward-facing headlamps with additional infrared illuminators for navigation and weapons systems, and the primary forward-facing weapons being a pair of autocannons while additional secondary weapons are retracted into the wings until needed.

One thing I figured out in the time between first designing this and actually finishing it is that my fascination with sticking wings and the like, even big chunky ones like this, onto starships might not be as absurd as I once thought--apparently, dealing with heat dissipation in the vacuum of space is a legitimate issue, so those large wings could be housing radiators, heatsinks, and other thermal management equipment. I love it when I can find a good explanation for my bullshit aesthetic choices.
