I've drawn this weapon twice before, once as part of a sheet of weapons I drew in 2020 (in which this weapon was just referred to as a "Lightbearer Dominion Infantry Rifle" as I had yet to decide on a proper name for it, and yes I want to revise the design of the corresponding infantry pistol to match this rifle's aesthetics too), and in the hands of the Ventrannan soldier Brynjarr.
In both of these appearances, the weapon had a very bland and smooth appearance, like it was made out of a few pieces of stamped metal or something, and it lacked visual interest as a result. This time, I played around and added a lot more detail, as well as bringing the coloration and visual style more in line with other Lightbearer Dominion military tech I've drawn (and in particular, their battle cruisers) and I think the weapon looks a lot better as a result.
