Ivaylo Boscov by LordDominic

Ivaylo Boscov

More "reviving forgotten characters"/"redrawing old favorites" art, featuring wolf/hyena hybrid abomination Dr. Ivaylo Boscov, a morally and ethically dubious computer and cybernetics researcher.
(The validity of his doctorate is just as questionable as his ethical standards, it's likely his middle-school science project involved turning a recently-deceased pet hamster into a meat robot using an old calculator...)

Despite being a character I don't draw much, Ivaylo really does fill in a few gaps as far as world-building goes, being instrumental in a few of Dominic Wolff's cyborg and computer warfare projects and the reason that even after Ivaylo's official departure from ShadowHyena Tactical Enterprises, there are routinely transfers of several thousand dollars for "computer repair and tech support services" sent to a raggedy old appliance repair shop in Hartford.

Lore-wise, the appliance repair shop is perfect for Ivaylo, as not only does it give him a decent enough day job that he enjoys that brings in some extra funds (he does legitimately enjoy working on and repairing appliances and computers and electronics), but it also gives him an excellent cover for stockpiling and obtaining all manner of electronic and computer components for his various illicit projects, and his lab/bedroom is in the basement of said shop, through a maze of shelves full of electronics and various appliances.
Bonus: the freezers he uses to store various organic components (his old arm, which he removed himself to put the cyborg arm on in its place, resides in one such freezer, as well as his old kidney in case he wants to sell it someday I guess?) don't stand out at all within the maze of old refrigerators and freezers and washing machines.

Time for me to ramble about how I recreated Dr. Boscov in Sims 4 as an evil mad scientist who worked as a babysitter briefly, then became a video game streamer before following his true passion of becoming a robotics engineer (Evil/Erratic/Genius traits, Renaissance Sim aspiration so job-hopping was a bit of a necessity and I legit wanted to explore some of the part-time jobs before doing robotics again since I had previously done that grind with Sim Domec).
When given the event by the game where he had to marry in seven days to receive an inheritance (usually I just choose the "under what conditions" response which is a safe $2500 Simbux, but Ivaylo is insane so I chose the "gimme money!" response, which it turns out does have the condition of marrying in 7 days), tracked down and married the exact Sim that gave him the challenge... the plan was to just kill her off afterward and take her money and house, but the two clicked and seemed legitimately happy with each other (and they yiffed in a dumpster), at least until she died on her own because Sims have a suicide instinct.

And then shortly after Wife died, the challenge came up a second time so I had Ivaylo just build a Servo and marry that instead, because "robosexual life partner" is totally in character for this psycho. Robosexual Life Partner and Ghost of Wife quickly became enemies, while Ivaylo built himself a mechsuit so he could hover around the house when he wasn't having a conversation with household appliances, hacking servers, assaulting the neighbors, or building additional robots.

10/10 would recommend Sims 4 with a furry mod as a means of recreating, interacting with, and exploring your characters.
