A little while back, I posted a random chubby canine character design, figuring he'd be a one-off since there wasn't anything particularly unique or interesting about him, yet people seemed to really like him--and he may be my most-faved drawing on Fur Affinity.

So, I decided to develop him a bit as a character, because why not?

His name is Roderick, and I see him working as a clerk in a grocery store or convenience store. A bit dorky and awkward, that sort of "slightly overly friendly" that's definitely not creepy but can get distracting or annoying when you're in a hurry, sometimes overly chatty, probably knocks things off the shelves with his tail and/or big butt when he has to bend down to pick things up, and probably splits his khakis at least once a month while stocking the lower shelves.

He also has some serious "alternate fursona" potential, especially since his work life seems pretty close to my own, although thankfully I've managed to avoid ripping my pants at work and knocking things off shelves with my tail by virtue of not having a tail in real life.
