Since "Fat Friend Friday" seems to be a thing I'm trying to make happen, here's one of my underused chubby cubs, a cheerful coyote by the name of Darren.

Darren started off as something of a "child-sona" or "cub-sona" when I first designed him back in 2006, although I didn't quite know this was a thing people did. As a result, he was a curious, artistic yet shy sort, and often depicted with a paintbrush held in his mouth, and often sporting a bandanna like many of my other Geoterran cub characters. While he didn't really remain in the "cub-sona" role for long, he and I still have a great deal in common and he's probably the closest character I have to how I actually was as a child in terms of personality and interests.

Here, he's looking a bit more adventurous than previous times I've drawn him, perhaps ready to embark on an adventure out into the great backyard...
