Thanks! I have to say, when I first watched Return of the Jedi when I was young, finally seeing The Emperor "in person" was quite an exciting moment. I've always loved just how in control of things he seemed to be, how he seemed to be so many steps ahead, and how he didn't feel it necessary to flex his power--everybody just knew how powerful he was by his very presence. And then the prequels added that "master manipulator" angle to him that made him that much more interesting as a villain--he wasn't just powerful, but he was cunning and treacherous. Definitely one of my all-time favorite villains.
That said, though, Dominic Wolff here isn't the villain of whatever stories I'm half-writing, at least not yet... I am considering the idea that, in the pursuit of goals he considers righteous and taking actions he deems necessary to solve the world's problems, he may find himself crossing lines of what is traditionally considered "evil" more and more, and may transition into an antiheroic or even villainous character as time goes on.
