While I was finishing old sketches, reviving old and forgotten character designs, drawing chubby guys in undies and experimenting a bit with minor details... I decided to draw Macario, the trucker hyena I drew once back in 2018 but never got around to drawing again.

Unlike many of my characters, Macario has a bit of characterization and backstory to him. "Mack" as he's generally known is a truck driver, and married to Mercedes. While he's often on the road, when he gets home he likes to spend time with his sons, Arnau and Rocco. His travels make him tangentially related to a lot of other events, and bring him into contact with a lot of other characters, and give him an excuse to travel through a lot of different locations. His stories from the road include plenty of encounters and strange sightings and weird run-ins with all sorts of characters, good and bad.

But... for now, he's just showing off his tighty whities. And looking bashful while doing it. Maybe the missus wanted him to take a selfie while he's out on the road?
