Aran by LordDominic

While I was making use of old pose sketches I had lying around, I decided to take a shot at updating one of my forgotten designs, a big antelope guy I drew exactly twice in 2017 named Jaala Aran.

He's a big, tough, serious military sort, but I decided to draw him having a bit of fun this time, perhaps trying to impress the does with his size and strength, or posing for one of those "beefcake pin-up" calendars? Who knows.
(Maybe at some point I'll get around to drawing him in a full-on sissy outfit sipping from a dainty little teacup like I thought about doing a few times in the past, too.)

I also decided to experiment a bit with defining his pecs a bit better, trying my hand at a more defined "muscle gut" build (although in hindsight I'm not sure how pleased I am with the outcome), and giving his chin a bit more definition as well, and doing something a bit different with his tail by making it more thick and heavy rather than the "ropy" way I typically draw bovine tails and I think this is an improvement.
While I generally like to stay true to character designs, sometimes a bit of updating and experimentation is in order, especially with lesser-used designs.
