This is a standard multi-role fighter utilized by the Lightbearer Dominion. While many Starfarer factions use similar vehicles, the Dominion's are the most advanced and most common as a result of their need for an effective, versatile space and air-capable fighter.
They're a common sight in the hangar bays of most Dominion starcruisers and are suited to a variety of missions ranging from patrols and escorts to dogfighting. Classified as a "multi-role" and "superiority" fighter, these starfighters make up the bulk of the Lightbearer Dominion's space and air forces, and come armed with twin heavy blaster cannons and four concussion missile launchers, keeping the craft light and simple enough to operate while providing adequate firepower for most engagements.

Some variants include heavier weaponry, including heavier plasma cannons, mass-driver cannons, or even have their concussion missile launchers swapped out for heavier proton torpedo launchers (for use as an impromptu strike bomber), but the size and power output of the craft and its reactors limits the amount of weaponry it can carry.
The dome atop the craft is a sensor array, assisting in navigation, targeting, auto-pilot control and communications. In some variants, this sensor array is removable and can be replaced by an automech.
