Jeroban Space Freighter by LordDominic

Jeroban Space Freighter

More spaceship art.

This is a pretty typical Jeroban interstellar freighter, a mid-sized model commonly used for interplanetary cargo shipments. The craft features both an internal cargo bay and a set of racks on the underside for holding shipping containers, although in typical Jeroban fashion, some have been modified with a secondary/expanded cargo hold, or a single large detachable cargo hold in place of the container racks. The Jeroban favor designs that are simple, reliable, and adaptable, meaning that there are a variety of modified freighters of this type out there.

Additionally, to deal with the threats posed by pirates, criminal gangs, and even the occasional gunship hired by a less-than-scrupulous rival corporation to make sure goods arrive in a "less-than-marketable" state, these cargo ships are typically equipped with deflector shields and a number of autocannon turrets. The one pictured has 18 such pulse cannon turrets, 9 on each side, and each turret features twin pulse cannons, providing excellent point defense should the ship come under assault.

Also, while the planet doesn't show much detail, it's possible that this might be the first time any of my art has shown the Jeroban homeworld of Danajarba, an arid desert world whose seemingly endless dunes and badlands are pockmarked by small seas and lakes, little towns and villages, sprawling industrial sites and a number of massive supercities.
