Meat Quest: Monster Chicken
One of the biggest potential issues with the Geoterra Project is, ever since its inception in 2004, all of the mammal species present have been sapient--including traditionally "prey" species like cows, deer, and so on. That leads to some uncomfortable realities about where carnivores get their meat... having your neighbors over for dinner might have an entirely different meaning!
I've thought about possible solutions to this problem for years, while I'm not necessarily opposed to sapient hyenas hunting sapient zebras, I feel like there should be some other, less ethically and morally questionable options available.
Here, I applied the "monster bird" concept to a chicken. Obvious place to start! Also, I'm not that great at drawing birds so I figured it was worth practicing a bit.
Birds aren't exactly something new to Geoterra canon, with there being one example I found tucked away in my old art...
