It seems like most years around Halloween time, I take a crack at improving my Grim Reaper character's design, and 2019 was no exception!

This time, I decided to draw him without his hood, revealing the rest of his face... previous iterations of him featured hair, which means he has a scalp, and his torso has some flesh remaining. So that got me thinking, perhaps only his exposed face would have its skin eaten away, and viola! I was able to justify giving him ears.

I still don't like the idea of giving him eyebrows/eyelids though, as if the rest of the flesh on his face is gone, those would be gone as well. It means his eyes are always open wide, but that almost makes him more creepy and disturbing...
