You wouldn't say tighty-whities are a bit boring, though? People do seem to like seeing them in art for some reason, maybe the fact that they're kinda boring means they don't show up often in art, so when they do it's sorta unique?
Maybe he needs my other characters to show him where they find the underwear with the colors and the prints.-

Well, I like tighty whities in general, I don't find them boring. Even if printed underwear can seems better, is a thing of likes.

Very true, a lot of people seem to like the plain white briefs. I guess they're far more "practical" and inexpensive than the colorful ones, but at the same time they seem to be cheaply made and fall apart rather quickly in my experience even when they come from a more reputable manufacturer.

I used to wear the generic tighty-whities for the first couple decades of my life. While practical, they did leave much to be desired at times... and while it's great to be able to clean them with bleach (for obvious reasons) it turns out the chlorine in bleach is bad for the elastic and fabric, and makes them fall apart faster.
But, if they're cheap and get the job done, that's often all that really matters.-
I see. Mines also torn after a time.
