2016 art.

Private Liam Lanford. Painted Dog, age 21, infantry soldier. Just an average Joe. Not much going on in his life right now besides joining the military.

By the time I designed him, I was sorta winding down my activity with the dog-soldier stuff, so he never really saw much development. Also, African Wild Dogs are sorta cursed in my gallery--aside from Captain Buck, who is only loosely based on one, they never seem to stick as characters no matter how hard I try.

It probably also didn't help that this guy didn't have any traits whatsoever... Rollo's the screw-up, Farley's the serious one, Caleb's the clown, Mavuto's the outcast, Declan's the other normie, Davi is the Rambo (also, he's gay, and has romantic interest in Caleb, but I never really pursued that), Atif is the serious and somewhat world-weary medic that has to worry about all these guys, and even the equally neglected Darcy had a rough-and-tumble, reckless and adventurous air to him... leaving little Liam here to probably have just been relegated to the background anyways.
(It probably didn't help that I forgot he existed, to the point where I named another character "Liam" shortly thereafter... but it's not like I don't have three characters that go by some variation of "Buck" or three or four that go by "Dominic" so that's not really an issue!)

But, maybe being rediscovered during my archiving of art might give him a second shot at relevance!
