2015 art. Declan was one of those characters I just didn't know what to do with until I started drawing military guys. It's oddly frustrating to have a character design you like, but no idea what to use them for...

Declan Delaney was one of those characters whose look I like but I had no idea what to do with at first. Once I designed Rollo, Farley and Caleb, I wanted to add Declan to the platoon. He has the same basic visual look and body structure so he fits in perfectly. Also, between the clumsy Rollo, overly cheerful Caleb, and anxious Farley, it's probably a good idea to have at least one "normal" guy in the group.

Anyways, here he is, in his military-issue outfit. He pulls it off very well.
