2014 art. Looking at the comments on DA, it seems like this simple picture actually resonated with a couple of people. Maybe it was the overblown description that feels like it needs to be read by a dramatic narrator over somber music... Or maybe it was everybody being able to relate to microwaving cheap food at some point in their lives.
Description from the original submission page:
Three minutes from freezer to disappointing dinner alone. But hey, at least it's cheap, right?
Three whole minutes of waiting. Three minutes to contemplate your life and all the mistakes you've made and all the cheap microwave dinners in the freezer. Three minutes watching it spin around on its carousel to the steady hum of a dirty microwave. Three minutes to contemplate life's mysteries. What sort of meat is it? Is that brown stuff meant to be a brownie or some sort of pudding? Are they carrot slices? Did that meat just move on its own?
