2014 art. This is from a time period that, looking back, I can accurately describe as "scruff abuse". Everything was scruffy and shaggy! This is especially noticeable with one-off creature designs from the time, but other more established designs seem to have received a similar treatment. Not that that was necessarily a bad thing, merely an observation.

Applying my recent interest in drawing additional scruff to pre-established character/species designs. My old husky/wolf type looks pretty good like this I think.
Going back to the lesser-used character models kills two birds with one stone-I can draw something "new" without neglecting older, more established worlds and storylines.
