This is marked as critique requested: First, you have not provided the full page of your comic to critique. Second, when you click on the link, the page provided is only two panels - neither of which provides much in the way of action or dramatic tension - would suggest minimizing these two panels and either providing more panels or pairing them with a larger, more dramatic panel. Also, the entire color pallet of these panels is muted - you are clearly trying to impress upon the reader that it is dark, but your murky/muted color pallet has them blending with the background. You might try using higher contrasts on the characters and a dark background to express the idea of darkness rather a completely murky color pallet - this will help your characters pop out more. All that aside, you have solid character design: each character is unique and cannot be confused with any other character and you can pick up on certain character details just by looking at them: good job! (If you did not like this critique, I may suggest not using the critique function as a promotional tool.)

thank you for the detailed feedback! you make some really good points. it's technically kind of an update reminder, hence the preview, but I do indeed want critique on the page from anyone willing to click through and offer it - I just like keeping pages on my own site. I'll mess around with how I do update reminders in the future, cause now that I look at it the title is kind of misleading for it not being the full page. thanks for saying something, it's making me think harder!

you make really good points all the way around! I really have no arguments with anything you said, and thank you for the compliments on my characters!! I'll save your crit so I can look back on it next time I do a comic.

thanks for taking the time, it really helps and I appreciate it! have you had problems in the past with artists just using the function for promotion? +m+ critiques take a lot of focus and effort and it would be pretty lame if someone got mad at you for leaving one after they requested it!!

There have been issues with people abusing the critique function for additional exposure as it has a separate area on the front page and a linked twitter account.
Glad you are not trying to abuse the function. (I may have been a bit harsher than usual in my critique, as I thought you might be abusing it: Sorry.)

I love that Weasyl gives people who really want to improve their art a little extra chance to connect with people who might help! it's a lovely feature, and I'm sorry to hear you've had so many issues with people abusing that. thank you again for the critique, and apology accepted! good luck in your future critiques! I hope nobody gives you any more problems
